Teacher Jailing Moyes jailed for downloading child porn
A pervert teacher who served a prison term for bedding a 14-year-old boy was yesterday sent back to jail for downloading child porn.
Police found 27 videos or clips with stomach-churning titles on James Moyes's laptop computer.
They contained sickening images of young boys and girls being abused.
Jailing Moyes, 33, for a year, Sheriff Ian Dunbar told him: "This type of offence is one society regards very seriously, and for very good reason.
"The description I have of one clip is to me both horrifying and quite chilling."
He added that Moyes, by downloading the images, was encouraging those who were abusing the children.
Earlier this year, the Record told how Moyes had sex with a boy after getting to know him through a networking website.
He was a teacher at Foulford Primary in Cowdenbeath, Fife, at the time and pupils celebrated his downfall on their "We hate Mr Moyes" internet site.
Moyes was jailed in January and released early in July, but last month he was back in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court to answer new charges.
Moyes, of Kinglassie, Fife, pleaded guilty to possessing and downloading indecent photos of children at a flat in Dunfermline.
The court heard police found the images on the laptop during a search in July 2007 while they were investigating the offence involving the boy.
