How do I register users individually?
Registering each Windows Account or user (these are the names present on the Windows Login Page) with Sentry Parental Controls will allow you to set different rules and permissions based on the child's maturity and age.
To register your users with Sentry Parental Controls, you need to log into your control panel by clicking the LOGIN button above. Once logged in:
1) Click on the SETTINGS button at the top
2) Select the Computer you wish to update the information for
3) Choose USER SETTINGS
4) Select ADVANCED PROTECTION in the User Settings tab
If your child's Windows name (as per # 2 above) is not in the drop down below, you will need to set up a Windows user account for this child. If they don't have a Windows account they will default to an "All Users" account.
You can customise preferences for this user. Please don't forget to click "Save Changes" after you are done.
