How Do I Block / Allow Websites?
To Block/Allow Websites with Sentry you must first log into
.
Once logged in, follow these steps:
1) Click the "Settings" button.
2) Select the Computer you wish to modify.
3) Select "User Settings".
4) Select the "Window's User Account" you wish to modify.
5) Click the "Browser Settings" tab.
6) Scroll down to the URLs section.
Here you will find two lists, Block URLs and Allow URLs. Websites that are added to the Block URLs list will be blocked by Sentry and websites that are added to the Allow URLs list will be allowed through Sentry's filter. Websites on either list with check marks next to them indicate that the URL is on the corresponding list for all users.
Important Information
When Sentry detects that a user is attempting to visit an inappropriate website or a website that has been added to the "Block List", then Sentry will follow the set rules for the specific user.
Websites that are added to the "Allow List" override websites on the "Block List"
