Remote TV
The Remote TV feature lets you witness what your child is doing on their computer live, and all accessed from another computer through the web control panel's
LIVE ACTION
section.
To be able to use this feature, you will need to let any firewall programs allow Sentry Parental Controls access to your child's computer. To do this, you will need to refer to your firewall settings.
You will also need to make sure you have the latest version of Java installed on the computer you will be accessing your child's computer from.
Click here to download the latest version of Java.
Once you have the latest version of Java installed, click the
GO
button. Doing so may ask you if you want to open or save the file. Choose to
OPEN
it. If you are asked what program to open the file with, choose your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox etc etc).
Once opened, the Java applet will start.

Once the Java applet is open, you will see a connection window for a moment.

Once connected, a new window entitled
View
will open. The window will then take a short moment to load and resize itself accordingly. You will then see a live feed of your child's computer! You can resize this window how you see fit.
