Timer Settings

This section lets you control the time that you can allow your child on the Computer and/or on the Internet. Each timer has a tickbox asking if you want to apply any of these rules to all users on the computer. You have two timers:

Computer Timer - this will block/allow access to the Computer itself. If, for example, your child tries to use the Computer at a time that it is blocked, Sentry will automatically log that User back out.
Internet Timer - this will block/allow access to the Internet. When blocked, your child cannot use the Internet in ANY way. This includes surfing the Internet, using Instant Messenger (IM) programs or any other applications that use the Internet (eg World of Warcraft, Second Life).

To set the times, you can click on any hour interval, or drag your mouse over a number of intervals. The dragging can apply to more than one day so, for example, dragging your mouse from 8 on Sunday to 16 on Saturday will highlight 8am to 4pm every day. Once the Timer is active, your child will NOT be allowed access to the Computer and/or Internet in the times where the red highlight appears.
Once you have selected the times you want, make sure to click the SAVE button for your settings to take effect.
