Browser Logs
Browser Logs provide information on all activity within the supported Internet Browsers. The following browser are supported by Sentry Parental Controls:
Internet Explorer
[visit web site]
Firefox
[visit web site]
AOL
[visit web site]
Netscape
[visit web site]
You can choose a specific date using the calendar on the left.

To the right of the calendar, general information is provided about that the user(s) you have chosen to view the logs of. It shows statistics such as the number of web sites visited, the number of web sites accessed (or attempted access to) set violations, the number of web sites that have triggered a violation, the number of keywords that have triggered a violation, and the most popular violated category. These statistics show activity both for today and this month.

When each web page is logged, Sentry Parental Controls logs the following information for you to view:
Date and Time of the visited web site
The User / Windows Account used to access the web site
The URL (web site address) visited
Which Internet Browser was used
Whether a violation has occurred
[screenshot]
If a violation has been triggered at a selected site, a red exclamation mark
will be seen.
If you click on a specific row, you can view more details of the visit.

Also, if you have the "screenshot" setting enabled (explained in the
Browser Settings Walkthrough
) you will be able to view this too.
Another point to note is that some entries will be grouped together by domain. For example, if your child visits http://www.google.co.uk/ and then searches for something they will be taken to a new address within that domain (e.g. http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=parental+controls), both URLs (web site addresses) will be listed, but grouped together to tidy things up for you. You will see if pages are grouped together when a URL has a blue plus sign
by it. If you click this button then all the pages within the google.co.uk domain will be expanded for you to view.
